General Cut Flower Tip:
To ensure longer lasting blooms, keep away from direct sunlight and heat.

Specific Cut Flower Tips:
Roses: Simple prep. Cut stems at a 45 degree angle and trim thorns and leaves with a sharp knife or pruners. Remove 4-5 outer guard petals from the flower. Make sure no leaves fall below water level. THAT’S IT!

Tulips: Even simpler prep. Remove all but inner-most leaves. Tulips look best with less leaves. ☺ Cut stems at a 45 degree angle with a sharp knife or pruners and place into vase. Walla!

Lisianthus: Super easy prep! Cut stems at a 45 degree angle 1 inch from the bottom and trim leaves so none fall below water level. Stunning!

Anemone: Easy peasy care☺. Cut stems at 45 degree angle and immediately place in water. Keep water level low (about 4 inches) because stems can soak up too much water and get squishy.

Peony: Prep is a snap! Cut stems at a 45 degree angle to the length you like and place in warm water for quicker bud opening.

Hypericum Berry: Super easy prep! Cut stems at a 45 degree angle to desired length and remove most leaves.

Amaryllis: If you know your angles it’s easy! Cut stems at 45 degree angle☺. Best to remove 1⁄2”-1” of the stalk each time you change the water (about every 3 days). Stems stay fresher longer in shallow water.

Myrtle Topiary: Another easy keeper☺. Myrtle likes full direct sun and water 1-3 times a week. Try not to let the little trees dry out. For super pampering spritz once a week with water.
